Brian’s Cottage is a 1930’s single storey holiday cottage with a good sized lawned south-west  garden surrounded by two metre high fencing. There’s private parking in the driveway and entrance to the cottage through two metre high double gates lockable on the inside. The property is surrounded by arable fields with beautiful views and year round sunsets. It sleeps four in two bedrooms and we allow up to ten dogs depending on size absolutely free. Outside is a warm shower and trough bath for smaller dogs. We supply bowls including high feeders and troughs for brachycephalic breeds, throws, towels, grooming and doggy first aid kit, dog buggy, ramp, sofa steps, leads, dog sun loungers and paddling pools, cool mats, and can dog sit free of charge. A welcome pack is provided for our doggy guests including everything you need for a successful dog walk. At the end of the garden (through a two metre high gate secured from the inside) a footpath takes you up to the church. Due to the private and rural location we have specialised in accepting reactive dogs and are also able to accept registered dangerous breeds.

The Follies, are a set of 3 lodges, Folly 1  and The Arbour Folly are both 1 bed, Folly 2 is 2 bed, we are self catering with own parking outside the lodges. We are set behind electric gates in a 2 acre garden, with Ormsby House, which is our home.

Abbotskerswell is a small village with dog friendly pub and café, about 5 minutes walk from the lodges. It is half way between Dartmoor and the English Riviera, so beaches at Paignton, Torquay and Teignmouth all less than 30 minutes away.

We do not charge any extra for bringing your dogs, we think dogs need a holiday too. We don’t just tolerate dogs at Pentref we love dogs and expect a few muddy paw prints, it’s a perfect place to relax with your four legged best friends.
